Director of Weekday Children’s Ministry

I have been on staff at West End for over 19 years, and I have had the pleasure of watching this program grow over the past nine years. When I think back to the years spent planning and praying over this program, I am overcome by how God has truly grown it into a ministry that has served this community so well.  I have over 30 years of experience working in many different aspects of early education. It brings me great joy to see people dive into deep relationship with others and the Lord. My true desire is that we will make lasting memories with your children and send them to kindergarten with a deep love for learning and God’s Word firmly tucked in their hearts.

My husband Ray and I are high school sweethearts. We have been married for 25 years and have two adult children. Our home is a revolving door of teenagers and young adults, so our pantry is always well-stocked! We also enjoy spending time outside on our 10-acre farm that we lovingly call Blackberry Springs.

This is only my second year on the WECC MDO Staff however I began attending West End Community Church in January 1998 and have been so blessed to watch this ministry grow from a heart’s desire into the amazing MDO we have today. I have a BA in Psychology and studied at Covenant Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. After graduation I worked as a Payroll/Accounting Coordinator and Marketing Manager for Southwest Airlines for 13yrs followed by a 12yr hiatus to stay at home my boys. Then in 2022 God opened doors that led me back in the workplace here at WECC MDO.

I am originally from St. Louis (Go Cards!) but have been in Nashville for over 25yrs now so I claim them both as home. I have two boys, ages 14 and 13, who were actually loved and cared for by some of our current MDO staff during weekday Bible Study here at WECC before the MDO even existed! I enjoy watching the boys compete year-round with their inline and ice hockey, football, track, swim and baseball teams, as well as attending their band and orchestra concerts and theater performances. They keep us busy! We also love snow and water skiing when we can squeeze it in - that’s when mama gets to join in the fun!

I am so grateful to be a part of this sweet MDO and am honored that our families have entrusted their precious little ones to our care and commitment to point them towards Jesus. Thank you for sharing them with us!

I’m currently on my eighth year working at WECC MDO. I’ve taught in the Toddlers, Twos and Threes, and I enjoyed seeing the skills children acquire at different stages! This is my fourth year as the Administrative Assistant. I have a true servant’s heart and love being a resource to my fellow staff and our MDO families.

My husband and I have been married for nine years and we have 2 girls Chloe (3) and Molly (1). We love spending our free time hanging out with our family: game nights in Nashville and holidays in St. Louis. You’ll always find us near my 15 nieces and nephews. I avidly enjoy crafting and can often be found at the embroidery machine, Cricut machine, or cross-stitching. I am a passionate cruiser and have been on three Disney Cruises, which combines two of my favorite things - Disney and cruises!
